Production Company

The studio idents usually occur at the opening of any film. It is shown in recognition of the company that that helped with the production of the film. There are many different idents used in films and some of which are shown in gif on the left. These are the most common and established idents used in most films. These idents have had a part in some of the box offices hits of today such as the the classic home alone is produced by 20th Century fox. Disney is very well known for the children's audience producing classic fairy tales such as Cinderella. These have entertained for years.

There isn't just one way in which an ident can be presented. It can be adapted and used to suit a certain theme of a film. Such as the gif on the left shows different forms of the Warner Bros ident. The original ident is most likely to be used in most films. Such as a comedy or romance. However the dark blue and cloudy background can then be used for an action film. As its very bold and misty. The black and silver can be used in horror to symbolises darkness and that ident also signifies intensity and mystery. For cartoon it adds a childish touch to it, also by adding the cartoon cat and mouse adds to the point of being a cartoon film. So in such form its makes it obvious and adapts to the type of film you will be watching. Warner bros have contributed to many success of box offices hits such as The Dark Knight Rises.
