1st Production Meeting/ Introducing group/Initial Ideas

Our first production meeting was about our ideas on our thriller opening. Our team worked together to brainstorm ideas and end up choosing our best idea.

Team Members:

  • Afsana
  • Jake
  • Beata
  • Ryan
Our group picture:

We all discussed the potential role we will play when doing our thriller openings. Such as Ryan is the videographer (director), Jake does the editing, Beata and myself (Afsana) both volunteered to do acting.  As it was only the first production meeting, nothings has been finalised.
Initial Ideas:
We have a rough idea what we want to do and this is about a girl that is portrayed as her being stalked, theres someone there that is keeping an eye of her, taking pictures. This then flashes back to a dark room with a wall, which shows all the pictures of her and what she is doing. She is being watched in a car park. However the twist is that she is not the victim in fact she is the criminal, and the person keeping an eye on her is the detective. These are the red herring we have decided to use. It misleads the audience.
We haven't decided on  title yet. However the working title is 'Justice

Interesting shot ideas:
- Establishing shot, setting the scene.
- Jump Cut
- Graphic Match
- POV (through the detectives eyes)

We aim to maintain it at a fast pace editing

Dialogue:
Detective is the only one speaking-
"Ive got her"
"Target is on point"

These aren't all finalised, they are only a vague plan towards the final opening.
